Comments
Comments: Only 1 set of snowshoe tracks ahead of me this morning and what appeared to be a bare booter or 2 on the road. Hard crust with powder underneath. Not too many places where I didn't break through. Rough going. Ran into the group jusy as I hit the trail. The 1 dude in snowshoes and FOUR bare booters. They made a right mess of things. Not sure I was enough to help much. They only made it about a mile in. I made it to the step section and finally gave up. Breaking through almost every step. Since it was just me the trip back wasn't much easier and the boots group totaled the road. At least it was a gorgeous day and I saw a moose!
