Now it's my turn to moan and groan. When I started up, there was only one set of frozen boot prints left behind, so I was able to start to lay down a snowshoe track. Unfortunately, after I turned around, I ran into a young couple bare booting up. They totally trashed the trail. I tried to snowshoe over their mess, but my ankles kept twisting, my snowshoes came off several times as a result, and I had to go off trail to make it down safely. The trail will need a few snowshoers to pack it down. |
