Comments
Comments: Out and back to Mt. Mexico, we turned around just past the Sandwich Wilderness sign, and bushwhacked to true summit. About 12-16 inches of snow, crusty top and powder below. One set of boot tracks coming down, postholed here and there. We wore snowshoes and set a track out and back, so it was cleaned up.....until a bare-booter hiked up as we hiked out, so expect a boot tracks and postholes.

Cold day, temps topped out around 21 degrees with a breeze, but bright with deep blue skies. Lots of squirrel tracks, and a set of coyote tracks up top.

A good little snowshoe adventure for an afternoon out.
