Trail was broken out and firm enough to bareboot to the start of the loop. A little softer after that, where the tail of our group wore snowshoes to sweep up divots. All ten of us switched to snowshoes halfway up the steep climb up to North and used them across the ridge, then slid down. Some folk were out barebooting the whole loop but looked to be only occasionally postholing on the edge of the trail. |
