Nice to see some snow. The road walk up is hard packed with some avoidable postholes. Winslow had a narrow snowshoe track with a solid hard packed snow. Spikes would be sufficient but we wore snowshoes to get our snowshoe legs back. Very minimal ice where the ice flows are. The top summit was bare with some ice. We took Barlow down. It had more snow drifts on that side and deeper snow. Postholio made a mess of the trail. It will take more than 2 people to smooth it out. With snow coming tomorrow snowshoes will be a good choice. |
