| Comments: |
Three of us on 'shoes broke the trail from the parking lot up Lonesome, Dodge cutoff, Hi Cannon, KRT to the summit. We left what I would describe as a nice track despite the occasional butt slides we did on the descent. Only two of us went down the Hi Cannon below the Dodge cutoff. That is broken but that's about it. Lotta loose snow. None of these trails are ready for the inevitable Bare Booters except maybe Lonesome. They are not consolidated. Bring, and wear, your snowshoes.
Thank you Neil and Allen for a fine day in a Winter Wonderland. |
