Comments
Comments: Snowshoes all the way. A couple skiers came down before me, smoothing down the few inches of light fresh snow. I started off in spikes (for about 30 feet) but it became obvious that the best traction and movement would be snowshoes. Spikes/bareboot wouldn't have postholed but rather chopped the trail up a bit. Mt Tecumseh Trail is hard packed and quick moving the whole way, with no postholes (!!!) A big thank you to those who broke it out through the last week. At the summit loop/Sosman Trail, only the trail to the left is broken out. Things are a little messier here, there were a few dicey postholes and a snowier trail but not too bad - still easily traversed. All in all trail is in great condition right now!
