| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
The parking lot was unplowed, at least 10 inches of unpacked powder. Front-wheel drive, low-clearance vehicles will find it challenging. My Rav had no issues. |

| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
From the TH to the gully about 2/10s in from the TH is "mostly" cleared of multiple downed trees, many completely blocking the trail. The first two blockages were within sight of the parking lot. There remains a large duck under cleared of obstructing branches and a large easy step over. The large tree canopy in the gully is mostly removed but passable, my turn-around point. Having had enough fun for the day, hiked back out. I used a 21 inch Fanno saw. Given the extent of the havoc encountered in this section, I can only wonder what awaits my next trip. |

| Comments: |
I'd heard that there was a significant amount of damage but was amazed at the extent of it. I had the trail to myself, hiking through unbroken snow, a rarity on this trail. I wore snowshoes so out and back from the TH to gully is broken out but absolutely not consolidated. Snowshoes are definitely the way to go. The trail beyond the gully is unbroken. |
