Comments
Comments: Did this loop counter clockwise, Sandwich Mtn had about 4 inches of fresh snow on top of a lightly packed trail until the first set of ledges. Between there and Jennings the snow was deeper and some drifting had filled inmost of the trail. Periodic post holes the whole way, particularly on the initial ascent and then coming down Drakes Brook. Think it will need a few more passes with snow shoes before it’s ready for spikes. Saw no one all day, but there was another car in the lot when I got done and it looked like they had followed my tracks in, also wearing snowshoes.
