Comments
Comments: Terrific morning - got a late start due to the cold. Quite blustery on the ridge where there were occasional big snowdrifts. Once I got to Percival, I pondered descending via either the Cave or Cliff Route but decided too risky if I were to fall so I doubled back the way I came. Snowshoe track is super-narrow (like 1.5 snowshoes wide) so most of the time I put 1 snowshoe in front of the other. Large group heading up as I descended - they weren't wearing snowshoes so trail was getting chopped up. More snowshoers needed to pack it down.
