First car at Thompson Road parking at 7:30, ~4 cars there upon my return at 11:30. Room for perhaps 6 cars with the current plowing situation. |

Found one microspike-type traction device on Pudding Pond Loop, placed at main kiosk. |

Super lovely day exploring the Green Hills for the first time! Went up to Peaked and then Middle, and then added on the Pudding Pond loop after. I put on snowshoes at the Black Cap Connector and kept them on after that. There are some small postholes and I enjoy helping to create those beloved sidewalk conditions :) One could definitely hike this loop with spikes and be fine, but there are some areas where the snow could use a bit more packing down at this time. |
