Comments
Comments: The trail was well blazed in fresh yellow and is signed. There were probably some blowdowns but I do not recall them.

Second and final hike of the day after NH Audobon's Bear Mtn Trail nearby. Similar to that trail, this trail is not described in its current fashion in the guidebook as it was relocated since the 5th ed was published. This is the new Welton Falls Trail. It is not shown on Gaia but starts near what I believe is a road that is shown on Gaia. The trail heads east, then turns south and eventually climbs in a straighter line. It utilizes some roads as well. The stats for it are 1mi, 490ft of gain so it is not steep. Snow conditions were similar to what I'd experienced earlier and nearby; semi-supportive crust, not deep but maybe a little deeper than what I'd encountered on Bear Mtn. I chose to leave the snowshoes in the car though one could have used them if they wished; at the time, there just wasn't a great depth for them. I'm sure that's changed by now. It took me 1hr15min to complete.
