Went in from W Dunfield side since from the various winter trip reports I could find, this side seemed more likely to have parking available. I used a trail map I found on the Bradford town website. The various maintained trails are well signed and blazed. I followed the Dunfield Road portion of the trail up to Knight Hill trail. There were no tracks to follow other than crisscrossing critter tracks, until then there was a snowmobile track coming up from the East Dunfield Road side, going up Knight Hill trail. It steered away from the final summit stretch and went down into the Blitzer Easement. From the Knight Hill summit, I followed the stone wall for a little, then cross the various minor bumps between there and the primary summit of Rowes Hill. The summit register was a frozen lump. |
