About 12 open water crossings on the west side coming down; all manageable with some care without removing skis. |

This is a ski trail. Used waxless skis for entire loop; did the loop counter clockwise. Untracked powder up the east side after the intersection for the John Rand Cabin. Coming down the west side; untracked and had to navigate numerous water crossings. Tracked trail picked up about a mile from the Ravine Lodge.
Our party saw no other persons out that day. |
