Wasn't sure how this was going to be today, but I'm happy to report the trail is superb! Well packed down. Used my rock spikes the whole way and that was plenty of traction. Snowshoes would be overkill. The slabs had a hard snow cover and the sketchy sections had nicely placed foot holds. On the backside that sketchy slab had a nice snow topping to walk along and then descend straight down through the carins. Beautiful late afternoon out there! |
