Trail was well packed by snowshoers, drifted over in several spots. We preferred our snowshoes due to the televators, so helpful on the several very steep ledge climbs. Packed trail deviates from actual trail in a couple spots. Quite a few very deep postholes in mid and upper C-M Trail from barebooters; snowshoes the best bet. Great peak for a windy day! Perfect for 11 1/2 yr-old Eva. Thanks to all who have packed it out in the last few days. Stony Brook Trail near the summit looked to have been hiked by quite a few hikers the previous day, good snowshoe trough. Good day with Stephanie and Eva! |
