Comments
Comments: What an incredible day to tag these peaks. No wind, warm like summer on top, had to hike in short sleeves to keep from sweating profusely. The lower elevations were colder and foggy. These trails right now are a breeze in snow shoes. Many hikers out today and quite a few were spiking which would not have been my first choice. I bet there were close to 50 submitting Washington, lots coming up the winter route on Lion's Head and more than a few coming up the cog and Jewell. Skiers skinning coming up the cog too. The weather this winter has been bizarre to say the least. Jewell has seen lots of traffic and is well packed.
