Comments
Comments: Weather and snow conditions threw a lot at us today. Trail to Morgan was fine. We didn’t do the ladder. Could be handled mainly in spikes but so many spots were so soft that postholes were everywhere. One misstep would land you 12-18” deep. Trip from Morgan to Percival was better and more packed. We chose to go down Percival cliffs trail. The one spot just below summit we bushwhacked around because the main trail had a small luge run like feel to it. Wasn’t good for the dog in the party. Below that only two pairs of bare booter tracks in front of us for 2+ miles. Strongly recommend snowshoes if descending Percival. It is posthole central. Snowshoes start to finish today.
