Comments
Comments: It was a nice day, overall. When we started, conditions were more packed and solid. Lots of people have been through here, and on this day, it was no different. There were several groups that we saw, including a few bigger ones. I decided to don snowshoes to keep things packed, while my 11 year-old opted to bareboot. Mostly, I saw people in spikes, which I think worked early in the day. There were several of us in snowshoes, and I think as the morning wore on to the afternoon, that would have been the better options, as the warmth was starting to turn the snow softer. So, in short, I don't have a single traction recommendation.

While it was cloudy, we could still see the suns light shining through the clouds, keeping things cheery. Sadly, the summit was socked in for us. We could barely make out the trees growing on Pemi's sloping ledges. Still, it was awesome. We were also gifted with some flurries up top and on the hike down, keeping things magical.
