Comments
Comments: Just about the best weather you could ask for to snag MadAdams! Trail down low was firm enough to bareboot in the early morning, but we opted for snowshoes. There was a fair amount of frozen postholes, and a few “crash sites” where folks had broken through to water, but didn’t spoil the day. Osgood was mixed conditions…some spots Hillsound Pros were the right tools for the job, other spots snowshoes were a boon. Once the sun really hit in spots we had a bit of slush. Trail to Airline junction and up Airline needed snowshoes to keep from breaking through the crust. Bony sections last .2 miles to summit of Adams, with a few spots of ice. Overall a 10/10 day in the northern Presi’s
