Comments
Comments: We love this loop, always go clockwise using the ski trail as our ascent route. Snowshoes car to car, established snowshoe track, but it was not consolidated for spiking or boots. The route has postholes, more so on the Old Path, my dog kept falling in the postholes ruining his normally fluent gait, cmon people do what you need to, we are all in this together so to speak. We went over to the cairn on South, a few before us stopped at the view point, so we re-broke that section. There were a lot of skiers out, it was fun to watch them fly down that narrow trail, that is some skills. Everyone was having a great day on the Doubleheads, just a pleasant little loop, no views for us, but hey, we live to hike no matter what. #30 for Shays third round of the 52wav list.
