Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Three or more blowdowns easy enough to go over for now. One section of trail has a washout so people go along the edge for now. Rangers are aware of this and asked how it went (with my pulk sled). It went fine.

Comments
Comments: I used skis and snowshoes to make my way along this three mile section of trail to the tent site for a winter campout. There was not as much snow as I expected but the coverage is adequate for skis or snowshoes. The first mile is well packed and could be walked in microspikes. The second and third mile are a mix but on this day went best with snowshoes on the way to the tent site. Gains 300 feet of elevation but feels like uphill. I camped. Next day coming out on the same trail was easier as it was mostly a slight downslope, perfect for skiing. I saw two people skiing, two people snowshoeing, and two people just walking barefoot on the first mile section that was well packed. Anyway just thought I'd file a trail report so people consider this trail. Perfect for an easy or snowy day when you aren't in the mood for a high summit.
