WOW, trails are in perfect condition, Hillsounds the thorugh way, and Snowshoes came along for the ride. I could of used them, but not necessary and I was too lazy to swap out. Falling Waters was well packed and easy to navigate the crossings. One note. At the last waterfall section where you usually go right, cross to the other side then up the sketchy rock boulder wall... well it doesn't now. The route goes right up the water fall, so just an fyi. Maybe that will change, but it is frozen and snow covered but you can hear the water underneath flowing. Going across the ridge there where some icy spots, coming off Lincoln. A few drifts of snow but fine with the Hillsounds. Coming off Layfaytte, there is a icy section were is goes 45 degree, use caution and traction there, but otherwise easy trip down! |
