A beautiful, serene walk in the woods today. Snowshoes went for a ride as the path is well packed, fast, and stable; do keep your eyes out for a few frozen bootsteps on the outer edges, a few potential ankle twisters. Snowshoes might be needed if temps warm up. Hoped for great views with the "mostly sunny" forecast but socked in at the summit. But, I'll take zero views over zero other people any day! |
