Comments
Comments: Gorgeous snowy walk. Champney Falls Trail to first junction, spikes were fine. Continued in spikes up to Champney Falls Cut-off then switched to snowshoes. Could see a trail, barely, and broke it out since last snow. Middle Sister Trail -- deeper snow, no tracks, no blazes/cairns could be seen. Had to break-out the best route to summit. Very windy, no view, but the snow was stunning! Used snowshoes all the way back to the lower falls--took right fork --quite steep, care needs to be taken. Watched ice climbers, then switched to spikes for walk back to car. Watch the postholes -- some significant ones.
