Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Snowshoe track stays east of Little River until “third” crossing at 1.9 miles; this crossing was easy with just one short jump ( 2 feet at most) across open water. Multiple water bars remain open below this, but are fairly easy hops, too. About 1/4 mile above the crossing, there is a succession of three short areas where the trail has shallow water running across and down the trail for 8-10 feet without an obvious route around them. Either removing snowshoes or judicious placement of snowshoes on some rocks was needed since surroundings were densely wooded with spruce.

Comments
Comments: After crossing the bridge, the road has a “Do not enter” sign, but a few hundred feet further there is a sign on the left saying “Trail” which marks the start of the bushwhack. Actually a nice woods road rather than a bushwhack. Broke into the sun near the summits with beautiful undercast! Televators were much appreciated on the steep last mile or so on North Twin trail and climbing back up to North Twin from South Twin. Still no apparent tracks on Twinway heading toward Guyot.
