We were likely the only ones on Bonds today. Trails were in great shape, minus the many duck unders that can sap your energy pretty quick if you’re taller than 5 ft! Barebooted to hut. Snow shoes til the end of Bondcliff trail. Trail was too soft for us to go without snowshoes. Would have been harder, like walking in sand. Postholes sporadically on Bondcliff trail only. We got beautiful color for sunrise but then entered the ping pong ball whiteness for remainder of hike. All in all a great day on trail. |
