A quick trip up Mt Major as part of my dog's plan to hike all the trails in the Belknaps (75%). I barebooted up about a third of the way and then put on spikes when it got a little more steep. We were out early and the melt/softening wasn't happening yet, but with the warming temps and the sun finally showing up for the next few days, snowshoes would be helpful in order to keep the track in good shape. |
