Snow was fairly soft this afternoon with temperatures around 40 degrees. This gave me, as well as a few snowshoes that preceded me, a chance to clean up the trail after the nasty postholes installed last weekend. A few open seeps in the usual places on Old Mountain Erode, but otherwise full snowpack.
Unfortunately, a barebooter was on their way up as I was nearly down. Hopefully they turn around before they create too much carnage before temperatures drop.
Mostly cloudy afternoon with some wind up on the ridge. |
