Small stream at start - "big bridge is washed out" - detour marked with handmade signs and flag tape. (NOT the Bemis Bridge, which is in great shape) |

Trail has been well broken-out, snow depth 18-24 inches outside the trail. First mile or so has many postholes, deep and frozen, but they could be bridged with snowshoes, step cautiously! |
