Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Open spots in the usual places, but top was bridged today for an easy route to the base of the falls.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Large tree across trail near start, big step over.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Easy trail for pups, Coop has hiked it dozens of times. But today, apparently, he found someone's CBD related product (gummy, or other) and consumed it w/o my noticing. He was behind me the entire hike, so I am not sure where or when. The emergency vet knew the signs and said they see this increasingly. Just something to watch with your dog on the trails. This could be a real issue on longer hikes, especially if a pup becomes incapacitated.
Bugs
Bugs:
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: left my old black fleece gloves in the shelter. If found bring to TH and send me a note, I can pick them up there.

Comments
Comments: Trail is a nicely packed trough to the falls. Falls were beautiful, especially with fresh snow on the trees. Snowshoes went for a ride, as I stuck with spikes. But 2 others I saw barebooted w/o issues. Slight balling on spikes b/c it was sleeting and the snow surface was getting a bit wet. This might really harden the trail for the weekend, might be slicker. Great chatting with Lloyd and Mike today.
