| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Couple blowdowns to go under or around and a few branches sticking into trail so keep your eyes open. Otherwise it's just the usual branches heavy with snow/ice to push through between the junction for Pierce and Eisenhower. |

Bare booted to the junction of Pierce then snowshoes to Ike. A couple dudes were only in spikes, but I'd rather have my snowshoes for that kind of power. ZERO visibility above treeline on Eisenhower. I could just make out the cairns and I'm familiar with the trail thank goodness, but it was still unsettling. Good broken packed trail and a fast hike! |
