Trail deviates from blazes about 1.2 miles up but the trail is well packed there and rejoins after a brief detour |

Good packed trail, post holes in spots the whole way up. We wore snow shoes up, micro spikes down [recommend wearing snowshoes DOWN as well to preserve the trail for others]. I wouldn’t recommend bare boots as some sections are too steep to get traction. |
