I tried parking at east lot (on Indian Pond Rd) but trail signs said to park near 25a in lot but lot was covered in ice and had not been plowed in a long time, so, I drove around mountain to west side and found plentiful parking along Norris Rd (roadside), low-traffic. |

Terrific late afternoon hike for snowshoe afficionados. Was pure pleasure to snowshoe a trail not destroyed by postholers. YAY!!!!! Yah, there were a number of natural deer-related postholes but I'm fine with that. Wonderful sunlight in the woods here. |
