| Comments: |
Nice crisp day with some lingering clouds blowing off by midday giving us blue skies and spectacular views from the summit. Rime ice hoodoos great fun on top - nature's winter architecture. Nice snow shoe track excellent for snow shoes and spikes trailhead to trailhead. Fat gray jays didn't bother to chase us down. Too well fed already, but seen from the trail. Summit winds limited time above treeline. Wish we coulda stayed longer. Kestrel T=13, W=averaged 16, WC= -6. Fine day. |
