Comments
Comments: Beautiful day on Kearsarge. Winslow Trail up was well packed and no post hikes. Microspikes or hillsounds perfect traction. Some small sections of ice that my hillsounds had no problem getting traction on. Went down Barlow Trail. Not as traveled or packed. Scattered post holes. I snowshoed from shortly after the trail split sign of Barlow and Winslow all the way back to my truck. Was grateful to have my snowshoes for that section as it was very narrowly broken out with multiple post holes. Was too lazy to convert back to spikes for the road walk, so I snowshoed the rest of the way down. Blue bird day with gorgeous views. Pup and I met some nice people and had a wonderful hike.
