The parking lot is NOT plowed. We had 4WD and still had issues. The access road is plowed as is the small right-side parking lot about 2/10 before the TH parking lot. |

We turned around at the second major crossing - no way to cross w/o getting wet. |

| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Trail maintenance trip with the two adopters. In response to a report of numerous blowdowns blocking the trail, we three went with our kit to start clearing them. Much to our surprise, dare I say relief, a local area resident had cleared enough of them with a chainsaw to open up the trail though there remains much buried under the snowpack. We cleared a few minor issues and one step over beyond where our unknown friend had gone up by the river crossings. The adopters will be busy once the snow is gone to remove debris under the snowpack. |

| Comments: |
The first part of the trail was broken up/postholed by barebooters and the upper part towards the river crossings unbroken snow. We wore spikes as snowshoes, especially on the lower stretch, would have been tough on ankles. |
