| Comments: |
Beautiful walk in a winter wonderland as the trees were covered in snow and heavy hoar frost the whole way. Trail was packed powder all the way to the summit and to the lookout on North Peak, minor post holing off to the sides but the trough was solid. I put my snowshoes on for the last 450 feet to the true summit of North Peak that hadn't been broken out beyond the lookout. Other than that, it was bareboots all the way up and down. Met two groups going up on my way back down and one group heading up at parking. |
