Used micros up to summit. There are a lot of frozen postholes right on the edges of the trail. Upon the next snow storm a good snowshoe “maintenance” hiking will help fix that. Snow was solid with a few icy spots. Switched to snowshoes for the North Peak. It was broken out, but there was loose patches. Most did not have snowshoes on so I’m not sure if my packing effort will matter! Glorious day! Blue sky. Light wind. I find this trail very dog friendly. |
