| Comments: |
Starr King trail well packed to Mt. Waumbek. Light traction worked very well for this section.
Kilkenny Ridge Trail was unbroken to South Weeks. It has now been packed by 6 (3 out and back), but not stable enough for anything but snowshoes.
Our track mostly follows the Kilkenny Ridge Trail. A couple of times we were off of it, but not by much.
There are a couple of dead ends, but they are short, and a couple of splits that will reconnect.
If you have wanted to hike to South Weeks in winter, now is your chance. |
