Beautiful bluebird day with clear views to Washington! Webster-Jackson Trail was a sidewalk and we made very quick time. Carried snowshoes but did not need them although some would prefer them between Jackson and Pierce as the snow is packed out but definitely a bit weaker. We did not posthole though so I’d say to each their own there. Didn’t see anyone at all between Jackson and Mizpah Hut but going up to Pierce and then down the Crawford Path was very busy today, maybe the busiest winter hike I’ve done so far. First butt sliding of the winter made it a very happy hike!! Crawford Path down was another sidewalk, perfect and quick hiking conditions. |
