Comments
Comments: We started up the serpentine, narrow trail to Doublehead, with all eyes focused on spotting the next marker. Trekked E once we hit Thompson Rd, then N back on the trail, and quickly came to the open view with picnic table, then on to DH with great ledge views S, before summit. We followed Crawford Ridgepole Trail westerly over the Squam bumps to Percival. Up to that point, we 5 were all on snowshoes, and the trails were untracked, but easy going over thickly crusted snow. The trail from Percival to Morgan was a mixed bag with few snowshoe tracks mixed with postholes. We descended Mt Morgan Trail, which was a solid, (too?)narrow microspikable trough, then Morse Trail to Percival TH (lot not plowed), and a final road walk back to the cars.

Glad that our captain was GPS tracking our trip, as we were slightly off trail a few times along Crawford Ridgepole Trail.
