| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Small parking area with room for a couple cars. Just keep going until the parking is obvious. I think it may be a little longer than the guidebook suggests. Also, there was a sign earlier on that said that it was a private road, hikers were welcome, but there was NOT parking beyond. This was clearly NOT the case. A bit of a confusing situation. Feel free to email for details. |

Fourth hike of the day after Bog Mtn, Butterfield Pond, and Clark Lookout. This loop is hardly described in the guidebook but luckily there was a map at the trailhead and I imagine I could have found one online as well had I taken the time to look. I hiked Kidder Trail for about 0.1mi, then turned right onto Morgan Hill Loop which I followed over the summit to Morgan Hill Trail which I turned right on to complete the loop back to my car. The trails had all seen traffic but some more so than others and I probably should have used my snowshoes but decided to leave them in my car after seeing how well packed Kidder Trail was. No views but nice woods. Gaia had me at 0.83mi, 160ft of gain, 21min. |
