Comments
Comments: Great afternoon! Trails filled with people below the Mt Major ledges; apparently those without light traction were turning back.
I only needed the light traction just on the final climb up the east side of Mt Major. Otherwise, the traction stayed in the pack. I carried but did not need full crampons.

Trails were VERY pleasant tho slippery with a fine spray of ice on everything. Bleached moose skeleton just off the trail near East Quarry. Nice views!!! There were people peppered throughout ALL these trails today. Didn't have time for the big loop so turned back about a half mile west of West Quarry.
