Comments
Comments: From stream crossing I made my way to the ridge that is almost directly opposite the campground. I tried to stay on the ridge that leads to the knife edge. Try to stay away from areas that have newer growth, instead stay with the bigger trees. Follow the ridge until you reach the summit area. Once on the summit, turn to the west. I went too far south and had to work my way back around to the canister. Instead, when going west err to the north a little. The trees here are very close together and you have to work your way through them. This should get you near the canister which is in a relatively open area with lots of downed trees. The log book is really wet, even though it is in a plastic bag.
The trail I made will get you there, but it may wander a bit.
