Decent weather except above the tree line...strong winds on Jefferson and on the return. By the time I was half way back down Jewell, there was quite a bit of melting and snow dumping. Suppose to rain tomorrow so glad to get this peak done. Saw 6 others, one guy headed up at 4:30. One guy was headed down on my way up and he'd already tagged Monroe, Washington and Jefferson and it was only 11 am when I passed him below the treeline. |
