| Comments: |
I was happy to hike with Remington34 for the majority of the day. Made time pass pleasantly. Brutus was a great companion, too, though we did not talk much. I'll echo my hiking companion's comments that all trails were hardpack (I had snowshoes with me, but never needed to change from micros) and that bushwhacks should always be approached with maps and compass (or reliable digital counterparts) and the experience to persevere if things go south. Whole hike was much better than a few weeks ago (incomplete). I'm usually a >book time in winter - this was done 90 mins faster than book.
Note: I would recommend some traction (micros or shoes) due to some of the steeper sections. |
