Water Crossing Notes: Several of the snow bridges collapsed over the course of the day (one with me on it). Water levels rose a bit by the afternoon, but still doable without getting wet feet.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Handful of duck unders, but otherwise the trails are in great shape.

Comments
Comments: The snow deteriorated throughout the day thanks to the high temps. The way up was pretty solid, but by the time we were headed down, I was postholing every half dozen steps despite wearing big 25” snowshoes. The trail was pretty ripped up and unstable by the afternoon. Most of the snow bridges had collapsed too. Until the things harden up with colder temps, I’d stick with snowshoes.

Despite that, we had a mostly blue sky day with the exception of a brief squall that blew through on our return back over North. Got a little wet, but by the time we were headed down from Scaur Ridge, we were back under blue skies. Pics coming soon to Instagram @quantum.moxie
