Comments
Comments: From the parking spot, I road-walked south to the height-of-land, to the corner of the blue-blazed state land boundary, and headed into the woods from there. I quickly found a stone wall heading towards the summit, and followed that to a mini cliff band that was tricky to get up through, but I was committed to my straight path objective. At the summit, there was a heavily flagged pink tape path going north/south through the woods, and I'd seen it criss-cross my stone wall trail before, so I followed it to the north, guessing it would at least take me around the cliff down into the little pass to the north; and it did. The pink flags eventually dumped me out on the stone wall again, and I retraced my steps from there. I'm guessing the flagging is designed to make a loop of the summit, since it goes south from where I rejoined the wall as far as I could see. There was an additional pink flagged route going across the stone wall much much closer to the road, but those were much older flags, and it wasn't as frequently marked.
