| Comments: |
Trail in surprisingly good shape despite recent warm weather. Gale River Road is mostly sheet ice, Gale River Trail still well packed. Some minor post-holing about 2 miles into the trail, snowshoes could come in handy. As elevation is gained though the trail becomes more firm. Microspikes could be used whole way if desired. |
